O R D E R

When these revision petitions came up for hearing on 12.12.2014, a memorandum was filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner dated 11.12.2014, wherein he has stated that he was withdrawing his appearance and that he had also given a change of vakalat to the petitioner.

2. The learned Judge of this Court, after taking note of the fact that the learned counsel who was appearing for the petitioner had withdrawn his appearance and given a change of vakalat had directed the registry to issue a drafted notice to the petitioner returnable in two weeks.

3. The records would reveal that the petitioner was served with the notice and hence, his name has also been printed, as a party in person, in the cause list.

4. When the matters were taken up for hearing yesterday i.e on 03.11.2015, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence, these matters were ordered to be listed today i.e. on 04.11.2015, under the caption for orders. Even today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner either in person or through his counsel. Hence, it is presumed that the petitioner is not interested to get on with the petitions and therefore, this Court finds that it may expedient to dismiss these revision petitions for non prosecution.

5. Accordingly, the Civil Petitions are dismissed for non prosecution with costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
