ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Civil Revision Petition to direct the learned V Additional District Judge, Madurai, to expedite the trial in O.S.No.7 of 2016 pending on its file, within a stipulated time.

2. According to the revision petitioner / defendant, the respondent / plaintiff has filed a suit in O.S.No.7 of 2016 on the file of V Additional District Judge, Madurai for rendition of accounts for the usage of software programme of the respondent / plaintiff in various branches of their company. The revision petitioner / defendant has filed a written statement as early as in the year 2016 and the issues were framed on 09.11.2016. Thereafter, the suit is pending without any progress for the last three years. Therefore, the petitioner has come out with the present revision.

C.R.P(MD)No.67 of 2020 petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned Additional District Judge, Madurai to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned V Additional District Judge, Madurai to dispose of O.S.No.7 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible on merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
