O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by an employee of the Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation, seeking a Mandamus to reimburse the medical expenses incurred by him between 31.08.2024 and 04.09.2024 for a sum of Rs.3,44,774/- based upon his representation dated 20.11.2024.

2. It could be seen from the records that the petitioner is a member and subscriber of Government of Tamil Nadu, New Health Insurance Scheme2021. The petitioner has undergone treatment at Madurai Meenatchi Super Speciality Hospital on 31.08.2024 for Coronary Angiogram and two times stent was fixed in his heart on 31.08.2024 and 02.09.2024. The petitioner is said to have been incurred medical expenses to the tune of Rs.3,44,774/-. The petitioner has addressed a communication to the Insurance Company in November 2024. The Insurance Company has addressed a communication to 2/5

the writ petitioner on 29.12.2024 calling upon the petitioner to submit various documents on or before 03.03.2025.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that the petitioner may be directed to furnish Form - IV along with documents mentioned in the said letter before the cut off date.

4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent Insurance Company is directed to consider the claim of the writ petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the documents from the writ petitioner and pass orders and in accordance with the Scheme.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
