ORDER

The wife, who is facing proceedings for divorce before the Family, Court, Vellore in F.C.O.P.No.16 of 2019 seeks transfer of the same to the Sub Court, Virudhunagar.

2. Despite service of notice, the respondent has not appeared either in person nor through counsel duly instructed.

3. Transfer is sought for solely on the ground of convenience of the wife. It is seen from the petition in F.C.O.P.No.16 of 2019 that the petitioner is the resident of Jogilpatti, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

4. Considering the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this transfer petition as well as the convenience of the wife and also the husband, the proceedings in F.C.O.P.No.16 of 2019 are withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Vellore and transferred to the file of the Principal District Court, Madurai. The Family Court, Vellore is directed to transmit the papers to the Principal District Court, Madurai forthwith.
