This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the Respondent Police not to interfere in the civil dispute between the Petitioner and the 5th Respondent and not to harass the Petitioner for smooth functioning of the hotel business in shop No.36 E situated in Re.Sy.No.829/16 (Old Sy.No. 689/2) of Padalaiyar Kulam Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2.When the case came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint received from the fifth Respondent was closed after conducting enquiry by the fourth Respondent, since the subject matter is civil in nature.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The Respondents 1 to 4 are directed to act as per the circular issued by the Additional Director General of Police, Chennai in C.No.18/ADGP/L & O/Camp/2024 dated 09.01.2024.
