ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption 'Extension of time for 'Lower Court' and upon perusing earlier order dated 05.06.2024 and the requisition submitted by the Sessions Judge (FAC), Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act 1989, Sivagangai in D.No.153/2025 dated 05.02.2025 seeking further three months time to dispose of the case in Spl.SC.No.58 of 2023, this Court made the following Order: This Court, while dismissing the Criminal Appeal in Crl.A(MD) No.21 of 2024, by its order, dated 05.06.2024, directed the trial Court to conclude the trial in Spl.S.C.No.58 of 2023, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now, the learned Special Judge (FAC), Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989 has sent a letter, dated 05.02.2025, requesting extension of further time of three months to dispose of Spl.SC.No.58 of 2023.
