(R12 suo motu impleaded vide order dated 07.01.2025 in W.P.(MD).No.336/25 by RVJ) Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2024 and to initiate appropriate departmental action against Respondents 2 to 5, more particularly against 4th and 5th respondents, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. For petitioner : Mr.K.Viralinathan For Respondent Nos.1 to 3 : Mr.S.P.Maharajan Special Government Pleader

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.10.2024, and to initiate appropriate departmental action as against respondents Nos.4 & 5.

2. From the representation, it could be seen that, the petitioner claims title to the properties comprised in S.Nos.416/3 and 417/9A, Sakkarakottai Village, Vellipattinam Sub-Registrar Office, Ramanathapuram. However, the private respondents namely Respondent 2/6

Nos.6 to 11 have dealt with the property and registered the same. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent herein for initiating action against them. Though, positive direction is sought for in the writ petition, on instructions, the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that it would be suffice that the first respondent is directed to dispose of his representation dated 03.10.2024.

3. The Deputy Inspector General of Registration, Ramanathpuram District is hereby suo motu impleaded as 12th respondent in the writ petition. The Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments in the writ petition.

4. Considering the above said facts, the 12th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.10.2024, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation along with the orders of this Court.
