Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to erect fence around the property comprised in Survey
No.318/1J1B, with an extent of 21 acres 19 cents situated in Periyammapatti Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the representations dated 22.09.2025 and 01.11.2025.
ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to erect fence around the property comprised in Survey No.318/1J1B, with an extent of 21 acres 19 cents situated in Periyammapatti Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the representations dated 22.09.2025 and 01.11.2025. 2.Already the litigation was started as early as 2001. In W.P.(MD)No.23474 of 2018, vide order, dated 23/06/2022, the case ended in favour of the respondents. However, in the W.A.(MD)No.1117 of 2024, vide judgment, dated 01.09.2025, the Honorable Division Bench held in favour of the present writ petitioner. 3.Considering the same, the 3rd respondent shall provide police protection and all the necessary payments shall be paid by the petitioner. This order may be implemented within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
