2. It is seen that the baby was born with 1.4 kg at birth, has been taken care of and is now weighing 2.580 kgs on the 44th day and is medically fit for discharge.

3.It is submitted on behalf of the respondent authorities that in view of the offence being committed and the petitioner being the mother, the child is going to be handed over to Madha Anbu Ilam, Peraiur, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District.

4.It is needless to mention that authority has to follow any procedure, the same shall be followed and the baby will be handed over to the said institution for safe custody and upkeep of the baby.
