(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 6 and 7 in Karur National Highways, within a time frame.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to the filing of this Writ Petition, the encroachments as 2/4

projected by the petitioner have been removed by the authorities concerned. The aforesaid submission is not refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
