ORDER

The petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 19.04.2018, seeking permission to conduct the "Aadal Paadal (Dance Programme)" on 03.05.2018 at Night 7.00 P.M., to 10.00 P.M., for one day, to celebrate the festival in "Arulmigu Oorkavalan Samy Thirukovil", which is situated in Jeyamangalam Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District and consequently to give adequate police protection to the festival. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.When the matter is taken for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner was rejected by the respondent police, by an order dated 24.04.2018 and he has also produced the rejection order to that effect.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order passed by the respondent, dated 24.04.2018. No costs.
