Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to implement the peace committee meeting proceedings dated 17.11.2023 during the upcoming temple festival of Sri Arulmigu Selvavinayaga Temple & Sri Mariamman Kovil Temple at Panchampatti Village, Kodunthurai, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District on 17.01.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to implement the peace committee meeting proceedings dated 17.11.2023 during the upcoming temple festival of Sri Arulmigu Selvavinayaga Temple & Sri Mariamman Kovil Temple at Panchampatti Village, Kodunthurai, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District on 17.01.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocates for the respondents.

A peace committee meeting was held on 17.11.2023 in respect of the kumbabishegam in the aforesaid temple, which was scheduled to be conducted on 19.11.2023 and the parties agreed with the advice rendered by the Tahsildar and a resolution was also passed. As per the resolution, kumbabishegam in the 2/4
aforesaid temple was conducted in a peaceful manner. Following the same guidelines, the petitioner now wants to conduct the festival in the aforesaid temple in a peaceful manner and hence, he filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the parties are hereby directed to conduct the festival in the aforesaid temple without there being any untoward incident and law and order problem. If there is any violation of conditions imposed in the peace committee meeting held, by any of the parties, the official respondents shall take action against them and proceed in accordance with law.
