: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to pass necessary orders bringing Arunkula Manjuvayal Village under the territorial jurisdiction of respondent No.5 from the territorial jurisdiction of respondent No.6 by considering the representation dated 16.12.2020 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner made a representation to the respondents including respondent No.1 with respect to the territorial jurisdiction of the police station.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that instead of the Village, in which he is residing being within the jurisdiction of Vadakadu Police Station, it should be brought within the jurisdiction of Karambakudi Police Station. Seeking appropriate action on the representation made on 16.12.2020, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation, we direct the respondent No.1, to look into the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is further directed to give another representation within a period of two weeks from today enclosing a copy of the earlier representation.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
