ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's properties and fix boundary stones in respect of Survey No.382/16 to an extent of 1.37.0 Hectares, Survey No.382/17 to an extent of of 0.7.50 Hectares, Survey No.382/20 to an extent of 0.19.50 Hectares, Survey No.382/21 to an extent of 0.3.50 Hectares, Survey No.383/1D to an extent of 0.08.0 Hectares, Survey No.383/2 to an extent of 0.14.0 Hectares, Survey No.383/3 to an extent of 0.13.50 Hectares along with Well situated at Veeranam Revenue Village, Veerakeralam Pudur Taluk,
Virudhunagar District under the supervision of the fourth respondent for surveying the land, based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the properties in question and that a representation dated 09.07.2025 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the said properties. Since no action has been taken by the respondents 2 and 3, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that a survey was already conducted on 07.10.2025. However, with respect to S.No.382/16, an error has occurred in the revenue records. A report regarding this error has been submitted by the second respondent to the Revenue Divisional Officer / Sub Collector, Tenkasi.
5. Since the representation is already under consideration, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Writ Petition. However, with regard to S.No.382/16, the process shall be completed as expeditiously as possible.
