This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to fill up the post of Senior Factory Assistant, pursuant to the recruitment notification in Advertisement No.3/2019 dated 19.06.2019, by publishing the results of the written examination held on 22.11.2020 and the merit rank list and conduct the interview based upon the said merit rank list and thereafter, select the candidates in accordance with the rules and regulations. 2.Heard Mr.M.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.E.Mareeskumar, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

W.P.(MD) No.209 of 2021 4.The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent has not declared the results of the written examination, which held on 20.11.2020 and proceeding to select the candidates for the post of Senior Factory Assistant.

5.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the key answers, as well as the results were published on 20.12.2020 and the same has also been uploaded in their Website namely www.aavinmadurai.com. As such, the basis on which the present writ petition has been filed itself has become infructuous and no effective adjudication can be made therein.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
