This petition is filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to measure the land comprised in Re.Sy.No.134/3 of Veeyanoor village, Kanyakumari District as per order passed in W.P.(MD) No.5946 of 2014 dated 15.04.2014. 2.The petitioner sought police protection to measure the land comprised in Re.Sy.No.134/3 of Veeyanoor village, Kanyakumari District as per order passed in W.P.(MD) No.5946 of 2014 dated 15.04.2014. However, now, almost 4-1/2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now and the same would have become infructuous.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
