PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to allow permission to perform the Kumbabishekam by the Special Committee constituted by the 6 Karais Pangaligal of "Kanadu 108 Village of Aranmanaipatti Arulmigu Shri Kurunthudaiya Ayyanar Thirukoil Trust" by considering the representation dated 18.12.2020 in the light of the order passed by the 3rd respondent dated 12.04.2011 and subsequent Gazette publication dated 12.04.2011 made by the competent authority and also direct the 1st respondent to give adequate police protection for the Kumbabishekam to the "Kanadu 108 Village of Aranmanaipatti Arulmigu Shri Kurunthudaiya Ayyanar Thirukoil Trust" situated at Aranmanipatti Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukottai District.

appearing for the respondents submitted that pending the writ petition, the respondents have granted permission to perform the Kumbabishekam. The submission is recorded.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
