ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct survey and demarcate the petitioner's property in Survey No.1164/3, measuring 2 Acres and 54 cents, situated at Batlakundu Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the properties in question and that an application dated 20.11.2025 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the said properties. Since no action has been taken by the first respondent, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners,
appropriate steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 20.11.2025 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the revenue officials may seek assistance from the concerned jursidictional Police, if Police assistance is required while carrying out such survey. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs.
