This petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.13 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur District pending against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 306 @ 305 of IPC.

2.The petitioner is the teacher, who was prosecuted for the suicide committed by his student. This Court impleaded the Union of India and directed them to file a report with regard to the suicide death. The Union of India had also filed a status report and their intention to prevent such incident. However this Court is of the view that this petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, Court need not kept pending, since the plea of the petitioner to quash the proceedings already granted. As far as the present petition is concerned, nothing survives for further consideration. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
