O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.172 of 2019, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vaiyampatti Police Station, Trichy District.

2.When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in crime No.171 of 2019 has been registered by the first respondent police against the second respondent and others. Crl.O.P.(MD).No.738 of 2020 that both the cases are case and case in counter. Since the investigation is at the initial stage, this petition cannot be quashed at this stage.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However the first respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
