ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the complaint given by the complainant is pending for enquiry and on that basis, the petitioners were directed to appear before the second respondent police for enquiry, but the petitioners have not turned up.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are ready to appear before the second respondent on receipt of summons.

Recording the said submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the petitioners are directed to appear before the second respondent and on such appearance, the second respondent police is directed to proceed with the enquiry in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
