PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying, to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the charge sheet in C.C.No.82 of 2023 pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial level) Nagercoil and to quash the same as illegal in respect of the Petitioner/1st accused.

The Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking to quash charge sheet in C.C.No.82 of 2023 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial level) Nagercoil in respect of the first Petitioner.

2.The Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner is arrayed as A1 in C.C.No.82 of 2023 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, (Magisterial Level), Nagercoil. The second Respondent in this case is the De-Facto Complainant. Based on the complaint of the second Respondent, two cases were registered. C.C.No.82 of 2023 arise out of Cr.No.79 of 2023 on the file of the first Respondent and Cr.No.349 of 2019 registered against A2 by the same complainant.

3.The learned Counsel for the second Respondent submitted that the Petitioner herein and the second Respondent/De-Facto Complainant had entered into a compromise to give a quietus to the pending case. The 2/5

learned Counsel for the second Respondent filed vakalat on behalf of the De-Facto Complainant.

In the light of the Joint Compromise Memo, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the case in C.C.No.82 of 2023 pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial level) Nagercoil, is quashed in respect of the Petitioner is concerned. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
