ORDER

The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the above Writ Petition had been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection for the peaceful conduct of Pongal Festival of Punitha Anthoniyar Church, situated at Kallakudi, Lalgudi Taluk, Tiruchirappali District, commencing from 09.01.2024 to 18.01.2024.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that as on today, there are two parties and Peace Committee Meeting is held by the Thasildhar, Lalgudi.

3. The Petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Executive Magistrate/ Thasildhar, Lalgudi, in the Peace Committee Meeting. The Thasildhar, Lalgudi, shall pass appropriate order based on the Peace Committee Meeting.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
