ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is a senior citizen. She is the mother of the second respondent herein. The petitioner's case is that the second respondent is not maintaining her. The petitioner has however moved the Maintenance Tribunal. She appears to have moved the appellate authority. The petitioner is given liberty to file a petition under Section 5 of the Tamilnadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act. The Maintenance Tribunal/jurisdictional District Revenue Officer shall dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law after notice to the second respondent within a period of ten weeks thereafter.
