ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Claiming to be a member of the Kattunayakkan Community, the petitioner made a request for Community Certificate. On the rejection order passed by the second respondent / District Collector, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 29.10.2020. Seeking to dispose of the appeal filed as against the order of rejection dated 11.06.2020, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for and taking note of the pendency of the appeal, without going into the merits of the claim, we direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner dated 29.10.2020, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
