ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the first respondent to file the final report in Crime No.01 of 2017, dated 02.02.2017.

2. The first respondent has filed a status report, wherein the first respondent sought six months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter was pending from 2017 and the petitioner was not allowed to retire from service by citing the pendency of the case, and he could avail the retirement benefits.

4. Considering the above, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
