O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband, namely, Babu Micheal, Son of Iruthayaraj, aged about 58 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. According to the petitioner, her husband / detenu left the home on 02.08.2023, but he did not return. Hence, she lodged a complaint before the second respondent. Though the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.304 of 2023, did not take any steps to find out his whereabouts. Therefore, she has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the respondent police produced the detenu before this Court. On enquiry, he stated that due to the pressure of some third parties, who lend money to him, to settle the loans, he has left the home. The said submission made by the detenu is recorded.

4. Since, the detenu is a major and he is not under the illegal custody of any one, no further adjudication is required in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
