Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta to the petitioner to his property to an extent of 3 3⁄4 cents of land in Survey No.134/6 in Samuthirapatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District as per the directions of the 1st respondent vide his proceedings in O.Mu.No:9179 / 2019 /Aa4 dated 14.05.2020.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2.The petitioner has given a representation dated 12.09.2019 seeking issuance of patta for the petition mentioned property. The petitioner places reliance on the proceedings dated 14.05.2020 said to have been issued by the first respondent. Without going into the issue on merits, I direct the second respondent to pass orders on the petition mentioned representation within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
