ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.12.2024, and rectify the inadvertent error in the patta of the petitioner
2. The subject property in Survey No.230/2, to an extent of 66.5 ares, situated in Keelaeral Village, Ettayapuram Taluk, Thoothukudi District, originally belonged to the grandfather of the petitioner. After the demise of the petitioner's grandfather, the property was partitioned in the year 1963 between the petitioner's father - Natarajan and his brother Krishnan. While so, the petitioner came to know that patta for the lands was issued in favour of one Mrs.Kaleeswari, who was in no way connected with the petitioner's family. The petitioner, therefore, approached the respondents in person and submitted a representation, dated 12.12.2024. As no action was taken on the said representation, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, I am inclined to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.12.2024, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 24.01.2025 NCC :
