Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in NIL dated NIL and quash the same, consequently directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple at Gohilapuram Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District which is to be held on 11.04.2018. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in NIL dated NIL and quash the same, consequently directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple at Gohilapuram Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District which is to be held on 11.04.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

Today it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on 04.04.2018 Peace Committee meeting was convened by the Tahsildar, Uthamapalaym and the dispute between the parties regarding Kaliamman Temple festival has been resolved and the Peace Committee has passed the proceedings dated 4.4.2018 in Na.Ka.No.2778/2018/A8 and the copy of the same has been produced before this Court. The terms and conditions in conducting the Temple festivals have also been mentioned in that proceedings.

4. In view of the said proceedings, there is no legal impediment to conduct cultural programme. But today, i.e 11.04.2017, being the programme to be conducted, this Court cannot grant any relief to the petitioner. It is open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the third respondent. The same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the aforesaid proceedings dated 04.04.2018.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
