ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner filed Crl.M.P.No.3962 of 2021 seeking interim custody of the petition mentioned vehicle. The said vehicle was seized in connection with Crime No.496 of 2020 registered on the file of the respondent.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the case was reserved 'for orders' as early as on 01.10.2021, till date, the petition has not been disposed of.

4. The learned Government Advocate on the other hand would state that since the petitioner failed to produce the documents, the petition could not be disposed of.

5. If the court below is satisfied that the petitioner is entitled to relief, the petition can be allowed. There is no justification for keeping the petition pending. Therefore, the learned Sessions Judge is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned petition on merits and in accordance with law within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.211 of 2022 period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
