O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to remove the petitioner's name listed as H.S.No.333/2012 from the history sheet record maintained by the third respondent Police as per the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2021 within a time stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was branded as history sheeter and for removal of the same, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents Police on 16.12.2021, however the same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the second respondent is directed to consider the 2/5

representation of the petitioner, dated 16.12.2021, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 16.12.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
