ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A.1, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 419, 465, 468, 471 and 420 I.P.C. in Crime No.22 of 2013, on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.According to the defacto complainant, the petitioner/A.1 while working as General Manager in Thanjavur Central Co-operative Bank, directed him to produce his Fixed Deposit receipt and closed the Fixed Deposit and has taken the money.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the year 2009, on a surprise visit, he found in Vallam Branch, fake jewels were pledged and 156 gold jewel loans were sanctioned with the connivance of the appraiser and other accused. Immediately, they paid a sum of Rs.18Lakhs by closing some of Fixed Deposits and after four years, this complaint was given with an ulterior motive. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, with certain conditions.

6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thanjavur and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 06.00 p.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C.
