... Contemnor/Respondents Prayer: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents for wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.1184 of 2011 dated 29.11.2019.

Prayer in WP(MD). 1184 of 2011 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.Oa.3/19457/09 dated 28/07/2009 confirming the order of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.28405 /2008 Ma.5 dated 09/07/2008 quash the same, and direct the respondent to give due seniority to the petitioner in the cader of Secondary Grade Assistant, taking into account the date of entry into service i.e. 20/12/1997 and confer all consequential benefits, including further promotion thus render justice.

For non-compliance of the order of this Court, dated 29.11.2019, made in W.P(MD)No.1184 of 2011, this Contempt Petition is filed.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that as against the order of this Court, the State has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont p(MD).No.43 of 2021 preferred a Writ Appeal in C.M.P(MD)No.2464 of 2021 in W.A(MD)No.545 of 2021 before the Division Bench of this Court. The Division Bench of this Court, while entertaining the said writ appeal, granted an order of stay, on 11.03.2021.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Contempt Petition is closed.
