ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner, seeking for a direction to quash the proceedings in STC.No.1265 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli. 2.Mrs.Chamundi Bose, learned counsel for the petitioner, drew the attention of this Court to the order passed by this Court on 23.10.2019, in Crl.O.P(MD) No.14868 of 2019, wherein this Court quashed the entire proceedings in STC.No.1265 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli, as far as other accused are concerned.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present accused stands on the same footing as that of other accused in STC.No.1265 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli. A perusal of the records also shows that the present petitioner is similarly placed as that of the other accused in STC.No.1265 of 2019.

4.In view of the same, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in STC.No.1265 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli, is quashed as against the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.381 of 2021 present petitioner. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
