Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor of the first respondent and the learned counsel for the second respondent.

2.Though the criminal original petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR, since contentious facts are involved, it is not possible for this Court to consider the petitioner's counsel's contentions on merits. However, taking note of the fact that the FIR was registered some years ago, the first respondent is directed to file the final report on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
