2. Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents.

3. The Writ Petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission for the petitioner to hold stage hunger strike to be held on 02.05.2018 at Cauvery River Amma Mandapam to Mambala Salai, Trichy from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in view of the representation of the petitioner dated 19.04.2018.

4. Though the petitioner seeks a direction for a larger relief, learned counsel for petitioner would submit that petitioner would limit his prayer to one, seeking consideration of representation dated 19.04.2018.

5. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for respondents seeks time towards consideration of the representation.

6. Accordingly, the Writ petition shall stand disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.04.2018, solely on merits and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 30.04.2018.
