RESPONDENT / RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court mayy be pleased to issue suitable orders or directions to extend the time for deposit of Rs.20,000/- to the credit of Civil Revision Petition 785 of 2017 on the file of this Honourable Court. PRAYER IN CRP(MD) No.785 of 2017:- to set aside the order and decreetal order dated 03.12.2016, rendered in I.A.No.75 of 2015 in H.M.O.P.No.33 of 2015 on the file of the Learned Principal Sub-Judge, Thanjavur and allow this Civil Revision Peition.

ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.MUTHALRAJ, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.S.KARTHICK SUBRAMANIAN Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time for deposit of Rs.20,000/- to the credit of CRP(MD)No.785 of 2017 on the file of this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that this Court by order dated 17.04.2017 directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/-towards arrears of maintenance to the credit of the above Civil Revision Petition within a period of one month. Due to financial crisis the petitioner was not able to deposit the amount in time and therefore, he has filed the present petition for extension of time to deposit the same said amount. He also agreed to pay the arrears of maintenance till date.

3. Considering the above facts, the petitioner is directed to deposit a total sum of Rs.41,000/-(Rs.20,000/- as per order dated 17.04.2017 and arrears of Rs.21,000/-from April 2017 to till date) as on date towards maintenance, to the credit of Civil Revision https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Petition, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This petition is ordered accordingly. Post the matter on 23rd January 2018.
