ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the second accused in Crime No. 78 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Adhirampattinam Police Station, Thanjavur District seeking a direction to the respondents to withdraw the Look Out Circular as against the petitioner in connection with the above said criminal case.

2.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the other accused persons in the said criminal case have filed Crl.OP(MD).No.84 of 2024 seeking to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.78 of 2018 and the same was quashed by this Court on 05.01.2024. Relying upon the said order, the respondent police have dropped further action as against the petitioner also. However, the Look Out Circular against the petitioner has not been recalled. Hence, the present petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that they have dropped further action as against the petitioner herein.

4.The said fact is recorded.

5.In view of the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to withdraw the Look Out Circular issued as against the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

6.With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
