ORDER
The prayer sought for in the writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to enter the petitioner's name and her daughter's name in her husband's service record book by considering her representation dated 21.08.2017. 2.Heard Mr.A.K.Hemaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Jeyaram, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's husband, who was working at the respondents Corporation, died. Therefore, in the service record, the name of the petitioner and his daughter should be registered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
as legal heirs of the deceased employee. In this regard, with relevant certificates, though request has been made by the petitioner on 21.08.2017, the same has not been so far considered. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if the said request of the petitioner is directed to be considered within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.
5.I have heard Mr.D.Jeyaram, learned counsel for the respondents Corporation, who would submit that the request of the petitioner would be considered and needful would be done, within a time frame.
6.Considering the said submissions made by both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:- "that the first respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner dated 21.08.2017 and do the needful with regard to the registration of the name of the petitioner and other legal heirs in the service register of the deceased employee i.e., husband of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
No costs.
