O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to withdraw the investigation in Crime No.270 of 2012 on the file of the 3rd respondent police station and entrust

the same to any other competent officer in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police appointed by the 1st respondent after taking into account his past experience, sense of ability and justice to perceive the implications of the case and investigate it along with right lines within the shortest possible time. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the investigation in Crime No.270 of 2012 has been transferred to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam and it is pending.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
