PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 16 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police 1/3

for the alleged offences under Sections 498A, 294(b) of IPC, Section 4 of TNPHW Act in Crime No.16 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that there is a matrimonial dispute between the parties. The 1st petitioner is the husband and the 2nd petitioner is the mother-inlaw.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the matrimonial dispute is involved in this case, there shall be a direction to resort to the principles contemplated under Section 35 of BNSS and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
