Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the Sessions Court, Pudukkottai District to take on file, the Sessions case in PRC.No.12 of 2018 that was committed to him by the Judicial Magistrate, Keeranur and dispose of the same within the time.

Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the PRC.No.12 of 2018 was numbered as SC.No.105 of 2018 by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukottai and the case is now posted for trial. 2.Recording the said submissions, the present Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. However, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai is directed to expedite the trial in SC.No.105 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
