This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.35 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Ramanathapuram.

2. The defacto complainant Raja Sulochana @ Rajasulosana is present in person before this Court through video conference. She has been duly identified by Thiru.L.Ananth, attached to the Devipattinam Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that she has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned proceedings alive. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.241 of 2022 a joint compromise memo dated 07.01.2022. The impugned proceedings are quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. 3.Even though, the 3rd accused did not approach this Court, the proceedings stands quashed in toto.
