This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent viz., the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Chennai, to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2020 regarding her selection under GroupIV Examination held in the year 2019. 2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3.The case of the petitioner is that as per Notification No.19/2019 dated 14.06.2019, the petitioner applied Group-IV Examination for the category of Steno Typist(Grade-III) and she also participated in the process of selection. She secured 171 marks and the overall rank is 258. The petitioner has not received the orders of selection and the others, who obtained the marks below 171 have received the orders of selection. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 02.12.2020 and the said representation was not considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has participated in the process of selection to the post of Steno Typist, she was not received the orders of selection. In order to ascertain the result, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 02.12.2020 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.333 of 2021 this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2020 in accordance with law. 5.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered in accordance with law within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court.
6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not disposed of already.
7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
