PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 6 to Prohibit the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of schools and college under the administrative control of 6th and 7th respondents receiving grant in aid from the Government to contest in the upcoming 37th Diocesan Election for Trichy-Thanjavur Diocese scheduled to be held from 14.01.2021 to 16.01.2021 at Trichy Bishop Heber College and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 5 to take appropriate action against the government servants who are all involving in Church Politics (CSI) and holding the post of Diocesan Council under the control of the 6th and 7th respondents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.12.2020.

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to Prohibit the Teaching and 2/5

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the election has already been completed.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition and accordingly, the same stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
