ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that respondents 3 to 5 have created dispute in respect of the property in Survey No.82/2 of Ulakudi Village, Thoothukudi District and during investigation the petitioner has filed in O.S.No.106 of 2021 for declaration and injunction before the learned District Munsif, Srivaikundam, Thoothukudi District and the same was decreed in favour of the petitioner on 17.10.2025. Even after the decree passed in favour of the petitioner, the respondents 3 to 5 herein are disturbing the possession of petitioner and also made life threat to them. Hence, he seeks indulgence of this Court.

3. The respondents 3 to 5 have appeared before this Court and stated that an appeal has been filed in A.s.No.10 of 2026 before the Sub Court, Srivaikuntak, against the decree passed by the learned District Munsif, Srivaikundam, Thoothukudi District.

4. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out remedy before the appropriate Court.
