ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to file final report in Crime No.17 of 2022 pending on its file within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that originally FIR came to be registered by the District Crime Branch, Sivagangai, in Crime No.17 of 2022, for the offence under Sections 419, 468, 471, 420 and 120 B IPC and now the case was transferred to the Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Sivagangai, and the investigation is pending before them. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Sivagangai, is directed to complete the investigation and file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
