ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.6 in Crime No.194 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, was arrested on 08.04.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of I.P.C., and hence, seeks bail.
2. According to the Assistant Treasurer of Srivilliputhur, the accused have stolen cash of Rs.20,63,191/-, 972.60 grams of gold jewelery and 10.791 kgs. of silver articles from the Sub Treasury at Srivilliputhur.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that on the basis of the confession of the fourth accused, the petitioner was arrested on 08.04.2015 and out of total worth of Rs.35,95,192/-, the respondent had already recovered more than 32 lakhs and the petitioner has been incarceration for more than 70 days. It is also submitted that the third accused in this case was released on bail by the trial Court in Cr.M.P.No.4236 of 2015 on 10.06.2015.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that all the accused are in custody and the petitioner is having two previous cases of similar nature.
5. However, considering the period of incarceration, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur and on further condition that the petitioner shall reside at Cuddalore and report before the Cuddalore NT Police Station twice a daily at 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m. until further orders.
