ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to remove the stagnant drainage water in the 4th Street, Lions Town West, South Cotton Road, Ward No. 47, Thoothukudi, immediately for the welfare of all kinds of people and maintain the road properly by spreading the gravel stones in the undisputed 10 out of 20 feet or by following any intellectual and reasonable method, in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2022 within a time frame.

On 09.01.2023, we passed the following order:- ''Mr.N.Ananda Kumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent and submits that the petitioner has filed an Second Appeal in S.A.(MD)No.42 of 2012, wherein status-quo has been granted and the same is still pending. Therefore, the petitioner has to seek her remedy in the Second Appeal. He further submitted that the petitioner has made an objection for laying gravel stones in front of her house. In respect of the issue with regard to stagnation of 2/4
water in and around the house of the petitioner, the petitioner has to make a request to the respondent Corporation and the Corporation will consider the same and take necessary steps for removal of the same.
2.Post the matter on 23.01.2023 for filing compliance report.''

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the stagnant drainage water in the place in question, has been removed.
